Seat Availability

Thank you for your booking an appointment with the Student Registration and Records Team.

Our Helpdesk is located on Level 6 of the the Students Union Building- https://students.sheffield.ac.uk/ssid/general-info/maps/buildings/union

To come to our Helpdesk, use the staircase near the West Entrance of the Students Union Building. The staircase is next to the Grill & Go outlet. Take the stairs up to Level 6 and wait at the barrier until you are called forward by a member of staff. DO NOT USE THE LIFT TO ACCESS LEVEL 6.

Please ensure:

- You arrive on time

- You come to your appointment alone

- You have your phone ready with the confirmation of your booking time

- You wear a mask

International Students

Please ensure you bring your passport. If you have applied for your visa from outside of the UK, you need to bring your passport so that we can check the visa vignette (the travel vignette you used to enter the UK). This should include an entry stamp to show when you entered the country. If you did not receive an entry stamp because you used the passport E-gates at the airport then you will need to provide evidence of when you travelled to the UK, for example, with flight tickets or a boarding pass. If you have collected your BRP from the Post Office, you also need to bring your BRP card. 

Home Students

Please ensure you bring an acceptable form of ID:

- Passport

- Driving Licence (UK)- Full or Provisional. Isle of Man/Channel Islands; either photocard (only valid with associated counterpart licence, except Jersey) or paper.

- Birth Certificate (UK & Channel Islands) issued within 12 months of birth (full or short form acceptable including those issued by UK authorities overseas, such as Embassies, High Commissions and HM Forces).

- Adoption Certificate (UK & Channel Islands)
